    Job purpose

    Individual will be responsible for setting up and running a range of Lathes & Mills while maintaining production efficiencies. Must have good attention to detail and accustom to working and measuring to close tolerance and delicate parts. Responsible for maintaining work quality and doing in process inspection.

    Duties and responsibilities

    Setup and operate Lathes & Mills
    May Run multiple machines at once and maintain a high level of quality
    Make machine tool offsets as needed to maintain a high level of quality
    Perform frequent setups as required
    Be cross trained on other machine tools as needed to assist production
    Perform basic machine maintenance such as changing fluids and filters
    Maintain a clean work environment and machine work area
    Read process sheets and mechanical drawings
    Perform other duties as assigned
    Work from verbal, written instructions and prints.

    High school diploma or GED
    Technical Training Certificate/Equivalent experience
    High competency using micrometers, indicators, calipers
    Could require intermittent long periods of sitting, standing and/or walking
    Periodic lifting of materials not to exceed 40 pounds
    Willing to work beyond normal hours if needed
    Subject to stressful situations
    An understanding of both Metric and English measuring systems
    Knowledge of cutting media and material properties beneficial

    Generally working in production environment.

    Job purpose

    Individual will be responsible for management of existing Design Engineering duties listed in the job description.

    Duties and responsibilities

    · Possess skill required to design and draw CAD drawings required for the manufacture and assembly of piece parts, sub-assemblies, jigs and fixtures required to meet customer specifications and requirements of the final product.

    · Possess a working knowledge of Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerances.

    · Become proficient with MRP system in order to make BOM, routings and shop orders.

    · Write and maintain manufacturing and or engineering process sheets as needed.

    · Prepare quotes as received by Arnold Magnetics or potential Arnold Magnetics customers.

    · Perform magnetic circuit design for components and assemblies.

    · Interface with manufacturing to solve problems relating to processes, fixtures and materials.

    · Assemble prototypes as needed.

    · Travel to customer or supplier sites and other Arnold Magnetics facilities as needed.

    · Make critical decisions when the Engineering Manager is not present

    · Assisting others with Risk Mitigation of their projects

    · Being supportive across departments with all projects

    · Other duties as assigned

    · Be able to articulate Arnold’s value proposition through design assistance without giving away proprietary technology.

    · Designing for manufacturing with understanding of cost implications.


    · BS Engineering field. Preferably Mechanical and/or Electrical.

    · CAD and Solid works experience/knowledge.

    · LEAN manufacturing experience.

    · Core Mechanical or Electrical knowledge base with project management skills.

    · Able to interface with customers at all levels.

    Working conditions

    · May be exposed to industrial oils, coolants, solvents, lubricants, adhesive and other chemicals. NOTE: All safety precautions will be used.

    · Level of travel required: 5-10% - This involves customer visits for product discussions.

    · Plant wide climate control and air conditioning

    · Working hours are generally Monday through Thursday 6:00 A.M. to 3:30 P.M. and Friday 6:00 A.M. to 10:00 A.M.

    for full-cycle accounting, assisting with office-related operations, and fulfilling some human
    resource needs. This position requires an ability to juggle several organizational tasks at once.
    Responsibilities include:
     Managing all aspects of general ledger, accounts receivable, and accounts payable
     Processing all weekly payments and deposits
     Handling payroll information and processing weekly payroll
     Balancing and managing credit card statements and cash flow across the company
     Coordinating with the accountant for payroll tax filings, annual tax preparation, and
     Performing bank reconciliations and preparing financial statements
     Some HR duties including working with Healthcare benefits provider for open enrollment,
    new hire paperwork, workers comp claims, etc
     Maintain Insurance Certs for subcontractors
     Providing additional support and reporting as needed
     This position is also responsible for job setup and invoicing customers timely and

     Must have thorough understanding of QuickBooks Desktop Software
     Must have previous experience with Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable
     Must have excellent skills with Word and Excel
     Must possess exceptional interpersonal and communication skills
     Must possess a flexible nature and be able to juggle multiple tasks at once
